The rose hip is thered or orange fruit of the rose plant. Rose hips are used as a source of Vitamin C. There is about 10 to 20 mg of vitamin C in one gram of dried rose hips, making it one of the richest plant sources of natural vitamin C.
In addition to vitamin C, rose hips have vitamins A, D and E, essential fatty acids, bioflavonoids and polyphenols.
