Vitamin B and vitamin B Coenzyme questions
Q. I am not sure what coenzyme means.
If this B complex coenzyme formula has 5 mg of coenzymated Vitamin B6 is this the same 5 mg or (potency of all B6). It is for my 10 year old, and I just wanted to make sure about the coenzyme vitamin B forms, because 5 mg is low in comparison to most B complex formulas, which is what I am looking for.
   A. In order for vitamins to be properly utilized by the body, they must first be converted into their active coenzyme forms. Hence, the active coenzyme forms are more potent per mg basis than non-coenzymated b vitamins. Children should take much lower dosages than adults. You may consider half a capsule of MultiVit Rx daily or a full capsule every other day, or a children's multivitamin that we carry on our site. They both have B vitamins.

Q. Can MultiVit Rx and Vitamin B complex vitamin supplement be taken the same day.
   A. You can, but most people find one or the other works well by itself. One option is to alternate the use of a multivitamin one day and a B complex supplement another day.

buy Vitamin B coenzyme supplement at a discount sale. If you buy a vitamin B coenzyme supplement along with a multivitamin product, alternate their use since if you take them the same day you may get too high a dosage of B vitamins.

I'm comparing the NADH content / potency/ therapeutic effect in 2 different products on your site, under Source Naturals:
1. ENADA nadh Co-E1, 5 mg of NADH, 30 tabs
2. Coenzymate B Complex, 5 mg of NADH (and more coenzymated  B vitamins), 60 sublingual tabs
The question refers to the NADH : Apart from the dose (5 mg versus 5 mg) and the form of digestion (sublingual tabs versus regular tabs), the NADH in both products is the same? The B complex is beneficial for homocysteine, sugar metabolism etc, but I'm not sure if the mental clarity and energy metabolism is supported too by the coenzymated NADH from the B complex?
This is a good question. The label claims niacin is derived partially from NADH, but it does not say how much or if they are the same. We would need to ask Source Naturals if they can give us an answer. The mental effects of the NADH product versus the B vitamin complex product are going to be different.
