There are ten different marine sterols in the sterol esters and sterol fractions. It also contains more than 30 different essential fatty acids which are mixtures of saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. This product is a source of long chain omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids which are essential for health in humans. The two main omega-3 fatty acids present in are eicosapentaenoic acid (20 carbons and 5 double bonds, EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (22 carbons and 6 double bonds, DHA). This marine lipid also contains several other fatty acids which belong to the omega-3 family. These fatty acids all have four double bonds and have carbon chain lengths of 18, 19 and 20 carbon atoms, respectively, thus they are described as 18:4 omega-3 (18:4n-3), 19:4 omega-3 and 20:4 omega-3 (ETA).

Directions: Take 1 or 2 capsules 2 times daily for 4 weeks then 1 to 2 capsules per day. The daily amount of needed may vary from person to person. How come you don't mention these on your site regarding this product? A. The FDA does not allow claims to be made about supplements in regards to treatment or cure on the same page as a supplement is being sold. The website you mention regarding the benefits may be violating FDA rules by claiming a green lipped mussel extract helps medical conditions such as arthritis and asthma.
Q. Can I take green lipped mussel the same day as Joint Power Rx? A. We first suggest taking them separately for a few days, if no problems then you can combine them as long as your health care provider approves.
Q. Is it okay to take flax seed oil the same day as this supplement? A. We don't see any problems taking the combination.
