This natural sleep aid works best when taken on an EMPTY stomach 3 to 4 hours before bed. Take one or two pills at least 20 minutes to a half hour before eating your dinner. An excellent regimen to help you sleep well is to take this pill about half an hour before a meal which has some complex carbohydrates. Or, drink a fruit smoothie that has a little bit of milk or soy milk, a banana, and a couple of other fruits, sweetened with maple syrup or honey, and the optional addition of flax seeds for more fiber. The carbohydrate load, in addition to the natural sleeping pill, will be a good combination that you can try 2 or 3 nights a week.
In addition to Good Night taken before a meal, one can take a hops pill about 1 to 2 hours before bed with or without food. As with any natural or prescription product, it is a good idea not to take pills every night in order to avoid tolerance.

I wanted to let you know that I take a capsule of Good Night about 3 to 4 hours or so before bed on an empty stomach. Then I take a graviola capsule that you sell. I find the combination works great for me. Sometimes I also take a capsule of hops along with the graviola. I use this regimen 2 or 3 times a week and it helps me getter a better night's sleep.

Q. Does Good Night provide a knock out sleep like a pharmaceutical sleeping pill?
A. Good Night natural sleeping pills is a gentle way to help you relax and induce sleep, but it is not as potent as a drug. The vast majority of users love this natural sleep product. Good Night may not work well the first night or two in those who are habituated to pharmaceutical sleeping pills and take these drugs on a nighlty basis. But, after weaning off the prescription sleep medications, Good Night works quite well.
Q. Is it okay to take a hops pill along with this natural sleep formula?

Q. Does Good Night work the first time I take it?
A. For most people it does. For others it may take the second or third evening of trial before it finally starts working. Q. I would like to try Good Night , once and for all. I see that you encourage only occasional -and I guess "as needed"- use of the supplement so I know that there shouldn't be dependence. However in terms of when to use it: Can it be used say, when I eventually realize after a while that I'm having an acute (occasional) bout of sleep problems, for whatever reason? In other words would it be ok to use it late into the night after tossing and turning is already in progress? Or might it cause me to be too sleepy in the morning (if I eventually fall asleep) when used too "late"?
A. Good Night does not work well taken in the middle of the night. It is best used 1 to 4 hours before bed on an empty stomach, followed a half hour or later by a meal that has carbohydrates to induce sleep such as spaghetti, tomato sauce, and a little bit of cheese.
Q. Can I take Good Night during the day if I feel stressed?
A. Only if you plan to stay at home and will not be driving or operating heavy machinery for at least 6 to 8 hours.
Q. Is alcohol use okay with Good Night ?
A. One glass of beer or a couple of ounces of wine are fine, but we discourage drinking more than these limited amounts.
Q. I have chronic insomnia and take a sleep drug nightly. Could Good Night replace the sleep medicine?
A. This product is for those who have occasional sleepless nights, not those who have chronic insomnia. There is sometimes a rebound effect when a sleep medicine is stopped which means it is more difficult to sleep on the night when the sleep medicine is not taken. Good Night is not as potent as pharmaceutical sleeping pills and is not meant for those who have chronic, severe insomnia.
Q. I would like to know the amount of each ingredient in Good Night.
A. The FDA allows companies not to reveal the exact amounts as a way of trademark and patent protection, otherwise other companies can copy a successful formula. Good Night is a successful proprietary blend, hence we are not in a position to reveal this.
Q. I have a little difficulty with Good Night as to when and how to take it. The recommendation of 1 to 4 hours before bed time on an empty stomach does not chive with rhythm. I eat at 6 pm and go to bed at 10 pm. Should I take it before 6 pm? Is my stomach already empty at 8:30 pm?
A. Good Night can be taken 4 hours or so before bed, therefore it can be taken a half hour before sleep.

A. Good Night has a number of herbs and nutrients and many have health benefits, but we suggest people not take a sleep aid, no matter whether it is herbal or pharmaceutical, more than three nights a week since tolerance may develop or side effects may occur.
Q. Is it okay to take a theanine supplement an hour or two after taking a Good Night pill?
A. If you have tried each one on separate evenings and know how each supplement makes you feel separately, then it would be fine to combine them unless you have a major health issue or taking medications, in which case consult with your doctor.
Q. I read on a website that GABA is very unreliable because it does not easily cross the blood brain barrier. Why then is it in Goodnight. Do other herbs in Goodnight help GABA cross the blood brain barrier? My problem is that I can not sleep long enough. I wake up at 4 or 4:30 and can not go back to sleep, no matter what supplements I take.
